Our Learn To Play Day event offers the general public the chance to have a free 'taster' lesson on a musical instrument. Whether you have never played, or whether you used to play, our Learn To Play day is for you!

We will be showcasing our dedicated teaching studio in central Derby, with teachers on hand to discuss all aspects of learning to play an instrument. We welcome students of all ages from children to retirees. Free lessons are available throughout the day on drums, guitar, bass and keyboard; we will get you playing music quicker than you believed possible!

Parents are welcome to attend with their children, all of the instruments on offer can be taught from a fairly young age. In our experience 7 or 8 years old is a sensible minimum age to get the most out of music lessons but this is of course child dependent so this is not a fixed rule; if you are unsure about suitability please contact us to discuss.

Learn To Play Day is a national event held annually in conjunction with Music For All, a UK based charity dedicated to promoting the many positive benefits of music education.
